New Jersey raised Kevin Kloud is blending emotional vocal melodies over eclectic self-productions to deliver his take on the next generation of hip hop.
Born in Queens, New York to South Korean immigrants, he grew up to the soundtrack of 90s K-Pop mixed with 2Pac and Chaka Khan. Today, his sound is as much inspired by Playboi Carti and Lil Tjay as it is G-Dragon and Blink-182.
Currently based out of out of San Jose, Kevin Kloud began releasing his own music in 2020 led by his post-nostalgic single “Hate Me” and futuristic trap anthem “Cabbage”. With a lineup of his own singles and production credits for Bay Area artist Suigeneris now under his belt, Kevin is working on his debut project with long-time collaborator, Myles Reed. “Air Nimbus” drops Summer 2020 and draws inspiration from growing up in a generation of increasing apathy and decadence. The project includes features from Bay Area artists Steezy, Osibih, and Derek King along with production from Callan and Kevin Kloud himself.
